Mia's Motivational Monday

"I'd rather hustle 24/7 than slave 9-5"

I would rather work really hard for something difficult, but something I love than to work for somebody else from 9 to 5. Personally when someone says "spend your childhood wisely, you'll never get it back," I don't agree because if you think about it, if you work really hard when you are young in school or in a sport or with a dream and you work almost every single hour. Than the rest of your life you will live your "dream life" because you have the education or money to live it. Most of the people who I see say "live your childhood" are the people who got to enjoy the 18 years of their life, but now they have to repay all of the work they missed and now have to work for 50+ years. If you started when you were young and were really successful at the age of 18-30 then you could live the rest of your life living however you want. I also noticed that most of the people who "lived their childhood" regret not going to school the extra 4 years or hanging out with that group of people because they could have been better. Think of it like this, every single parent of ours has said "Priorities first, no video games before you finish your homework." or something on those lines, well life is kinda the same. Priorities first.

"Work hard in silence and let your success make all the noise."

This reminds me of another quote "72-10 doesn't mean anything without the trophy" ~Scottie Pippen. It reminds me about that quote because no matter how much you talk or say, nothing will count unless whatever you say matches your action.
"Do it for the people who want to see you fail."

People always think of me as an underdog, but it gives me the motivation and drive to prove them wrong. You might fail once, but don't give up. Failure is a learning process where you can learn about your mistakes. The more you fail, the more you will learn and the more you will be able to succeed.

"Winning a trophy merely collects 5 minutes of pride & a shelf life of dust. But giving 100% and finishing what I started, collects a lifetime of irreplaceable confidence in myself. I decide."

Would you rather win a trophy for cheating off of someone else's ideas and thoughts or would you rather earn everything and take pride for something that you worked 100% for. You don't want to be known for winning something that you didn't create, you want to be successful in your own ideas, thoughts or work. Lesson is Never Cheat Yourself, its worth it in the end.

"The 8 to be great"
Do the most you can for your dream, if it was your dream, you would do anything for it, and the most you can do is everything. You have no limitations, the only limitations you have is yourself.

"Work until your idols become your rivals."

In order to get better you need someone to look up to, but to be #1 you have to eventually go against them. You could never beat them though without hard work. Use them as your push.
"When you feel like quitting, think about why you started."

Whatever you started, you started for a reason. Either you had hope or knew you or it would be the next big thing. Never quit, never give up. You started for a reason and you didn't start to get "this far" you started to "finish the job." Of course whatever you are trying to achieve is going to be hard, but nobody said it would be easy. Keep going, it will be worth it in the end.

"Successful people are not gifted; they just work hard then succeed on purpose."

Life is about improving, but the only way to improve is to work. Work hard, no matter what you want to do. If you dedicate your time to what you want to do in life and work hard, you will eventually get there.

If, you got all the way down here Thank You! To explain this page really quickly is that this is my "words of wisdom" page and I will write motivation almost every Monday (I'm usually busy on Mondays.) Every week try to expect a new topic or theme, this week were quotes. My goal for this is to motivate you for the start of the new school week :) Enjoy! ~ cool.aid_woman
