Why Zero?

So, I was in a league where my number was 0 and there were  4 girls named Mia, So they decided to call me Zero. I like that name. ,I have many nicknames, but nobody calls me by them, except for Mia, but besides that they don't stick. Zero sounds like such a cool name, it's better than my other ones. For example, Miss Piggy, Sweet Salami, you get the point. The only nicknames that really stick is, Zero, Cool.aid_ , and of course Mia. To be honest those are pretty cool nicknames and have tons of meaning behind them, but all you need to know for right now is that is my basketball nickname that is very meaningful to me and please, don't say I'm obsessed with nick names.

What Does Zero Mean?

Zero to me means a lot of things symbolically. To me it means I started at one point and now I have come this far. To me it means that you always start somewhere. To me it means that your an important key because even though you are are the smallest number you cant get 10 with out you or 100 or 1,000,000. To me it means that I can be unexpected and I can be shown as 0 or 1,000. To me it means I am infinite and I will keep pushing forward no matter what happens. I can be an essential key to a team, but I also need a team to work together. I can get to 1,000,000 without a 1 or get to 2,967,564,000 without all of those numbers. There are also non-symbolic reasons why I like 0, for example my favorite player Russell Westbrook's number is 0 and he is the type of player I want to resemble.

My Basketball History

I started playing in basketball leagues when I was in 3rd grade, but I technically started playing when I was around 3 years old. So far I have played on 16 teams! This is not even including the camps I've been to! This year I am planned to play in 6-9 Leagues/Teams/Camps! Here are the teams I played on In chronological order. So, I've been playing for 5 years now and I have recently been playing against older girls (13-18yrs old.) I don't plan to stop any time soon because basketball, is my passion, dedication, and life.
